This diskette performs firmware update that is stored in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The firmware update will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
This diskette will automatically check the current version of the HDD firmware and determine whether it should be updated or not.
The supported ThinkPad models are as follows.
- ThinkPad X22, X23, X24
And also the supported HDD models are as follows.
- DK23DA-20 (20GB, HITACHI)
- DK23DA-30 (30GB, HITACHI)
NOTES:
Firmware is programming embedded in the hardware, which controls low-level hardware operations.
This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.
