The following information provides details of changes that have been made to this version of the software:

- (Fix) Fixed the problem that the password auto-fill feature does not work on the German version of the Windows Vista operating system.
- (Fix) Fixed the issue that the Password Manager program does not work when logging on the Web site at www.wellsfargo.com.
Note:
Only CSS 8.21 (Windows Vista (32-bit, 64-bit) and XP (32-bit) v8.21.0020 and above can run the patch. Previous versions (eg. v8.21.0006) will prompt error message that it does not support the installed version of CSS.

- Client Security Solution 8.21.0020.00
- Latest version of the BIOS
- 1.5 GB of free hard disk drive space
- 512 MB of memory (recommended)
- 8 MB of VRAM (Video Random Access Memory) shared memory set in the BIOS
- Upgrade and compatibility: None
- Launch the Client Security Solution program. After being authenticated, the main screen will be displayed.
- Click Help in the menu bar, and then click About. The version number will be displayed.
Installation instructions
Note:
- If the Client Security Solution 8.21 program works properly with the Mozilla Firefox 5 Web browser on your computer, it might not be necessary to apply the patch.
- To determine whether you should apply the patch, refer to the VERSION INFORMATION section.
Manual installation
Note: This section assumes to use the Internet Explorer Web browser and Windows Explorer.
- Click the file link for the executable on the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory to save and extract the executable.
- Locate the folder where the executable was extracted.
- Double-click the executable and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Note: During the installation process, make sure to select the checkbox next to Run FireFoxFix after Finish, and then click Finish. - Restart your computer.
Unattended installation
Note: The unattended installation can only be performed by system administrators.
- Click the file link for the executable on the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory to save and extract the executable.
- Locate the folder where the executable was extracted.
- Double-click the executable and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Make sure not to select the checkbox next to Run FireFoxFix after Finish, and then click Finish to cancel the installation process.
- At the command line, execute the FirefoxFix.exe file with the following option: /s
For example: [Path where the files were extracted]\FirefoxFix /s
Limitations
The patch may not work normally after downloading and installing this patch from the ThinkVantage System Update program if you do the following:
- Install this patch with the Client Security Solution program.
- Uninstall the Client Security Solution program.
- Reinstall the Client Security Solution program.
