i have a new asus s551LN laptop os windows 8.
i am new at computers and have 2 small children which i did buy the laptop for, having problems, when turn on I only get the bios screen come up, i can not even get to my manual, along the top of the s creen before the bios page comes up it says checking media presence. i dont know what to do to reset it to factory settings, i have tried f9 and f8 but would really appreciate some help in this area , just want to be able to get windows up and running again

Search this on your window “Advance Startup option” on the 2nd option in the screen is for factory settings goodluck
