The Audio drivers enables or updates the audio function for Windows XP
This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad A21e ,A22e(Celeron CPU models)

I. Summary of changes

II. Installation instructions
NOTES:
- This driver can be silently installed by using the Crysetup Installer
- Confirm that the driver is correctly installed, by determining the installed driver version as described below.
- Start Windows XP and logon with a user ID authorized as an administrator
- Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories and then click Command Prompt.
- Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\AUDIO\CRYSETUP -S and then press the Enter key, If you extracted the driver to a different location, then specify that location instead. Then installation will be completed without any notification in about 1 minute
- Type exit and press the Enter key to close the Command Prompt Window
Windows 98SE
- Copy the files to a directory on the hard disk drive and extract it.
- Click Start, then click Run.
- Specify the installation program CrySetup.exe with full path you extracted in the step 2 and click OK.
- Click Uninstall. The program will popup Crystal Audio was successfully uninstalled. Click OK.
- Click Exit and return to Windows 98.
- Right-click My Computer, select Properties, click the Device Manager tab, then click Other devices. If you see PCI Multimedia Audio has yellow bang(!) select it and click the Remove button. Click OK to the confirmation popup.
- Restart the system manually.
- Add New Hardware Wizard will start. Click the Next button.
- Follow the instruction on the panels and select Search for the best driver for your device(Recommended).
- Then click Next.
- Check Specify Location check box when it appears and give the correct path to the driver. Continue following installation wizard panels. During the installation you'll be required to insert Windows 98 SE compact disc (CD) to complete the installation of the WDM driver. It will continue to install the Crystal WDM Audio Codec.
- Click Finish when the installation complete.
- Restart the system manually if you don't see the speaker icon on system tray.
III. Determining which version is installed
- Right-click My Computer, click Manage, click Device Manager, then click Sound, Video and game controllers.
- Confirm the Crystal devices: Crystal WDM Audio Codec.
- Right-click Crystal WDM Audio Codec.
- Select Properties.
- Select the Driver tab.
- Click Driver details.
- Confirm that the last 4 digits of the Driver Version are 4143.
