This BIOS Update Utility updates the BIOS (system program including the Embedded Controller (EC) program) stored in the ThinkPad system to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
This release supports the following systems:
- ThinkPad R60e, R60i (Types: 06xx)
The following operating systems are supported:
- Windows 7 32-bit
- Windows 7 64-bit (*1)(*2)
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Windows Vista 64-bit (*1)(*2)
- Microsoft XP (Home Edition and Professional)
- Windows 2000
Attention:
*1: Windows Vista and 7 64-bit support Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors only.
*2: If Windows Vista or 7 64-bit version has been installed on your computer, use the bootable CD ISO format of this BIOS update.
