This package installs the software (ThinkPad UltraNav driver) to enable the following devices:
- ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device (Synaptics)
- ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device (Alps)
Supported ThinkPad systems:
- R61 (Machine types: 8914, 8918, 8919, 8920, 8927, 8928, 8929, 8930, 8932, 8933, 8934, 8935, 8936, 8937)
- R61i (Machine types: 8918, 8932)
- R500
- X300, X301
Supported Operating Systems:
- Windows 7 32-bit
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Windows XP Home Edition, Professional
Note:
- The TrackPoint driver does not need to be installed on the UltraNav models.
- If Driver Provider is Synaptics, refer to "ThinkPad UltraNav Driver" in this document.
- If Driver Provider is Alps, refer to "ThinkPad UltraNav Driver 2" in this document.
- If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
