The BIOS Update enhances certain ThinkPad systems to address operational issues, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
This release supports the following system
- ThinkPad i Series 1400 - Only the following 1400 Model-Type numbers are supported:
2611 - 40x, 412, 452, 456, 47x, 49x, (43x''s except 434, 435)
- ThinkPad i Series 1500 - Only the following 1500 Model-Type numbers are supported:
2611 - 512, 552, RR8, RR9
NOTE:
- Your machine type is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.
